This art teacher’s book held memories for her daughter, also an artist. The pages were stabilized and the cover was refurbished with new details.
Many large Family Bibles are the victims of time and use. Bringing them back to stability for continued use is satisfying for its owner and me.
A friend brought a book to me as a repair project joke. It had been mauled during the delivery process. As a challenge, I wanted to see what I could do to restore it.
An autobiographical manuscript was bound in a red leather hard cover.
I was asked to restore the original color of this book cover to return it to its original hue.
This large Family Bible sports a new leather cover but retains its original decorative elements.
